Piston Assemblies and Engine Components
Most piston companies source their blanks somewhere else and finish them. UEM doesn't. Cast, forged, machined, coated. Every critical process happens here, under our roof, under our control. We operate our own foundries, run our own machining, finishing, and coating operations, and build every assembly internally. Multinational corporations with global manufacturing footprints often don't operate this way, outsourcing foundry work, sourcing blanks, handing off critical processes. UEM does all of it in-house. For a company our size, that's not just unusual. It's virtually unmatched in the industry. And it's exactly what gives us something most competitors simply can't offer: complete accountability for what goes into the box.
Over a century of building pistons across virtually every application, OE replacement, performance, diesel, racing, motorcycle, industrial, and agricultural, means we aren't guessing when a customer brings us a challenge. We've built for it before. That depth of experience lives in our engineering, in our manufacturing, and in the brands that engine builders have trusted for decades: Silv-O-Lite, Icon Forged Pistons, KB Performance, KB Motorcycle, and Dualoy Diesel. Each one was built because a market demanded a better answer. We had the knowledge and the capability to deliver it. That's not a product portfolio. That's a hundred years of solving problems that matter.
