Return Policy
At United Engine & Machine Co., customer satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it under the following conditions:
Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
- Products must be complete, in new, uninstalled condition, and in original packaging.
- Special Order, obsolete, legacy, single piston and clearance items are non-returnable.
- All returns must be accompanied by an RGA number.
Return Process
- Contact our customer service team at orderdesk@uempistons.com or 1-800-648-7970 to initiate a return.
- Provide your order number, reason for return, and whether you prefer a refund or exchange.
- You will receive a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number which must be included with your return.
Shipping
- Return shipments must be packaged sufficiently to prevent damage.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and tracking.

Refunds
- Returns are subject to a 15% handling fee.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us immediately.
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund, and cover return shipping costs.
Stocking Distributor Annual Return
- All above guidelines and processes apply.
- Applicable for purchases made in the previous two years only.
- Allowance for up to 3% of the previous year total volume.
- Requires an accompanying equivalent offsetting order.
